It is located in Mojiko, Kitakyushu City.
Soft serve ice cream made using an old-fashioned machine.
The machine used by this store has already been discontinued.
The smooth cream mixed with the slightly rough part is simple and delicious.
Before COVID-19, when there was an event in Mojiko, it was selling like hotcakes and was even sold out.
Even if the price of raw materials is raised, the price of soft serve ice cream will not be raised. The owner says,
“When I see kids bringing two 100-yen coins and buying it, I can’t raise the price so easily.”
Currently, I can only visit this store about once a month.
Since the spread of COVID-19, the frequency of my visits has decreased.
Whenever I or other regulars show up, the owner greets us with a smile.
The store is full of humanity.
He says, “I’m glad you came even if it’s been a while.”
I also recommend the shaved ice!
By the way, if your old machine breaks down…
There are many veteran craftsmen around here who used to make various parts for the railroad industry.
They have no problem reassembling old parts

以前簡単に紹介したお店です。

北九州市の門司港にあります。
昔ながらの機械を使って作るソフトクリーム。
このお店が使っている機械はすでに製造終了です。
なめらかなクリームと、ちょっとザラッとした部分が混じって、素朴で美味しいです。
COVID-19の前、門司港でイベントが行われると飛ぶように売れていて、売り切れになったことも。
原材料価格が値上げされても、ソフトクリームだけは意地でも値上げしません。
「子供がねぇ、100円玉2枚持ってきてくれて、買っていく姿見るとね。
簡単には値上げ出来ないのよ」
現在、私は1ヶ月に1度くらいしかこのお店にいけません。
COVID-19が蔓延してからは、訪問する頻度も落ちました。
私や、常連さんが顔を出すと、笑顔で出迎えてくれる大将。
人情あふれるお店です。
「大変な中、久々でも来てくれるだけで嬉しい」
と言ってくれます。
かき氷もおすすめですよ！
ちなみに古い機械が壊れたら・・・
この周辺には鉄道関係で様々な部品を作っていたベテラン職人がたくさんいらっしゃいます。
古い部品を再度作り直して組み立てることくらい問題はないそうです
