Montaza in Alexandria

Montaza in Alexandria is a blend of royal history, nature, and sea, spread across a vast area of about 370 acres. It was founded in the late 19th century when Khedive Abbas Helmy II built Salamlek, and later King Fouad added Haramlek in a distinctive European style. After 1952, the gardens and palace became open to the public.

Today, Montaza offers wide gardens, beaches, restaurants, entertainment facilities, hotels, and long seaside walkways. Its charm comes from combining architectural heritage, greenery, and the Mediterranean in one place.
