I’d like to share with you some photos I took last year in June 2018 while residing at Granville for holidays with my family.
I visited the Mont Saint-Michel, a place facing the Manche (English Channel), located in north-western France in Normandy.
It’s the 3rd most visited monument in France just after the Eiffel Tower and the Palace of Versailles.
The site dates back from the Middle Ages, being a mount and an island sheltering an abbey, it was also an ancient seaside fortress against English and Viking invasions.
The name Saint-Michel came from the Archangel Saint Michael from the Abrahamic religions…
I hope you enjoyed my post and the photos I took ! ?

Of course I heard about the famous omelette of Mère Poulard, there were many restaurants having this dish in their menu.
Unfortunately, I didn’t taste it yet… Perhaps next time !
