Every week, Local Guides organise and host amazing meet-ups all around the world. This Monday, we’ve rounded up some of the best upcoming events to celebrate the great meet-up ideas and initiatives Local Guides are hosting in their community. If you’re interested in attending one of the meet-ups, you can RSVP directly on the page, but please only do so if you’re attending.

Here are our picks for the week from November 30 through December 7.

November 30, Lalitpur, Nepal

Are you interested in exploring the different ways your can contribute to Google Maps while meeting with experienced Local Guides? Then you should take part in @nkwetche ’s Douala Geo-Walk Meet-Up, the first supported meet-up in Cameroon. RSVP here.

December 1, Owerri, Nigeria

Did you know that December 3 is International Day of Persons with Disabilities? A great way to commemorate this day is by attending the Accessible Owerri (WAW 2019)meet-up hosted by @ChinonsoOnukwugha .This is one of the several meet-ups organised as part of the Worldwide Accessibility Walk 2019 campaign. December 7, Linden, South Africa

If you are passionate about accessibility, you may also enjoy @Carike ’s meet-up Accessible Linden, another Worldwide Accessibility Walk 2019 initiative championed by @EmekaUlor . RSVP here.

December 7, Jaén, Spain

Hi @RadieN thank you for sharing this list, showing date and country where the meetup will be hosted, it makes it easy to navigate and find the one near you. I just spotted a meetup which I might be attending which is hosted by @Carike I would like to take part and use this opportunity to meet other local guides locally, I wouldn’t have seen it if it was not shared here. Muchísimas gracias @RadieN por difundir nuestro meet-Up. Es la primera vez que se organiza en Jaén y estamos muy ilusionados con poder reunirnos muchos compañeros local guides y animar a otras personas a que también lo sean. Nuestro recorrido es accesible y vamos a contar con la participación de la Organización Nacional de Ciegos en su sede en Jaén ONCE-JAEN y de la Federación de personas con discapacidad Física en su proyecto “Puedo Viajar” FEJIDIF que van a participar en ésta primera ruta accesible por la ciudad. Va a ser muy emotivo.

Les deseo a todos los compañeros que su Meet-Up les salga maravilloso y veré las fotos que nos muestren lo bien que lo pasaron.
