Every week, Local Guides organise and host amazing meet-ups all around the world. This Monday, we’ve rounded up some of the best upcoming events to celebrate the great meet-up ideas and initiatives Local Guides are hosting in their community. If you’re interested in attending one of the meet-ups, you can RSVP directly on the page, but please only do so if you’re attending.

Here are our picks for the week from January 13 through January 26.

January 14, Dhaka, Bangladesh

Have you heard of Sakrain, one of the oldest festivals in Dhaka, Bangladesh? Now you have the chance to participate in the annual Sakrain meet-up, watch the great fireworks, fly a kite, and have a lot of fun. This year’s edition is called Bangladesh Local Guides Sakrain Fest Photowalkand is hosted by @MahabubMunna .RSVP here.

January 18, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Do you celebrate the Chinese New Year? A few days before this awesome holiday, you can help add accessibility information about the Kuala Lumpur Chinatown to Google Maps by taking part in the Accessible Chinatown Kuala Lumpur Meet-up. It’s organized by Connect Moderator @StephenAbraham .RSVP here.

January 18, Singapore

Another very interesting suggestion for a meet-up comes from @CrystalKoh . During her meet-upSG Light to Night Festival, participants will have dinner and take a walk around the National Gallery Museum to see the Light to Night Festival art installations. January 25, Chennai, India

Have you travelled a lot around the globe? Do you want to share your experience with other Local Guides? If so, then the National Tourism Day Meet-up hosted by @aravind_995 is the perfect opportunity for you to do so. You can also see the first Chennai botanical garden Semmozhi Poonga. RSVP here.

January 26, Chennai, India

If you are looking for a great way to celebrate the Indian Republic Day, why don’t you check out the meet-up called Chennai Republic Day Parade, hosted by @Arun1974 ? Yeah, Great initiative by Google,

I would like to see google in Ahmedabad India because world Heritage City Ahmedabad is a very good source to explore local guides. so we can arrange some Photowalk or marathon to connect people with Google local guides and share their valuable experience and help to google.

So Is there any meet-ups in Ahmedabad city?
