Baqra Eid brings lots of joy as food is concerned. It is the occasion where we meet with meat and cook a lot, I mean really a lot. From kaleji to paye, day spends with new recipes and spices.
Amongst many dishes, my family’s favorite dish is Pulao. It is cooked with basmati rice and meat with fats. Some people prefer using chicken, but we love beef and mutton Pulao. It’s main ingredients are coriander whole and fennel seeds. Salad and raita are complimentary with it.
Eid special feast have this dishodish top of the list. Old age people can eat too because it has zero spice in it.
Here I am in Pakistan, on last day of Eid enjoying Pulao with family.
