Monas it is tower in center of merdeka square or medan merdeka topped by flame covered with gold. Symbolizing the fight and struggling of Indonesian people for independence.
Monas was opened to public in 1975 and open daily from 08.00 am until 4.00pm, except Monday the monument closed.
Since 2005 monas has dancing fountain show called Air Mancur pesona monas but the fountain was ceased in 2009 by damage and back in operation on 12 August 2017 after repaired. The show start at 07.30 and 08.30 in evening on Saturday and Sunday.
