Monarch feeding on flower at the Monarch Sanctuary in Pacific Grove, California on the Monterey Peninsula. The annual migration of Monarchs from Canada & USA takes them down to Michoacan, Mexico to spend the winter months. Then they fly back north to cooler climates for summer. Amazing journey along coastal routes where temperatures do not vary much during 24 hours. Adults feed on nectar.3458×2592 1.01 MB
