I present for your consideration, my Mojito version.
4 onz lime
4 onz clear Puerto Rico Rum
3 onz club soda
8 yerbabuena or mint leaf
3 teaspoon sugar
Ice
Pour the yerbabuena leaf , the sugar, and lime in you glass. Crush all with a wood spoon, and mix. The include the club soda, and the rum. Use a shaker. Serve with Ice. enjoy.

A well done Mojito, is my all time favorite cocktail! I never made a mojito at home, but I will try doing it following your instructions.
