As a serious amateur photographer familiar with SLR Cannon cameras - doing both portrait and landscape photography I’ve been more than delighted by the light and averaging of the Iphone camera. Some IOS cameras seem to perform as good or even better in automatic mode than a carefully planned SLR shot. If familiar with manual modes either using Apple or any Android device, the depth of field and focal point of each subject or featured idea is getting more and more like the expensive SLR cameras. The simple tools to simply focus on the near or far subject, verses manipulating the F-stop is creating more and more unleashed creative talent. I love how a quick enhancement using the built in edit features and make a picture pop by several keystrokes! What are some of your tricks to enhancement, assuming that you have already framed the perfect shot?
