I mainly post in Fukuoka City, but I wanted to introduce some of the surrounding municipalities, so I went out to Miyawaka City.
Miyawaka City is not served by a railroad, so I headed there by bus.
There is a bus service from Hakata Station, the terminal of Fukuoka City.
It takes about one hour by bus.

Tonkotsu ramen soup is basically cloudy white or brown in color.
The reason is that collagen, the main component of bone marrow, is heated to become gelatin, which is stirred by being brought to a wobbly boil, and the gelatin acts as an emulsifier, enveloping the fat and mixing it into the soup.
But the one here is clear and transparent.
The restaurant here has many fans.
It is very crowded at lunch time.
Kashiwa rice balls (rice cooked with chicken) and oden are also recommended here.
Miyawaka is also recommended for its hot springs.
Public transportation is not well known and not many foreigners visit.

This is also where the bus I mentioned earlier stops.
All of the hot springs here are open-air baths.
You can take various kinds of baths while looking at the blue sky.
You can drink sake while soaking in the baths.
It is a great way to enjoy the onsen while drinking sake! 
And I also recommend lying down on the tatami mats to relax and take it easy.

私は福岡市をメインに投稿しておりますが、周辺市町村の紹介もしたいと思い、宮若市に出かけました。
宮若市は鉄道がないので、バスで向かいます。
福岡市のターミナルである、博多駅からバスが出ています。

とんこつラーメンのスープは基本的に白濁、または茶色に濁っています。
理由は骨髄の主成分、コラーゲンが熱を加えられてゼラチンとなり、グラグラと煮立たせられることでかき混ぜられ、ゼラチンが乳化剤となって脂分を包み込み、スープに混ざり合うからです。
しかしここのはクリアな透明。
ここのお店はファンが多いです。
お昼はとても混み合います。
ここはかしわおにぎり（鶏肉の炊き込みご飯）とおでんもオススメ。
宮若は温泉もオススメ。
公共の交通機関があまり知られていないので、外国人もあまり訪れません。
脇田温泉 湯乃禅の里

ここも先ほど紹介したバスが止まります。
ここの温泉はすべて露天風呂。
青空を見ながら色んな種類のお風呂に入ることが出来ます。
湯船に浸かりながら日本酒を飲むことが出来ます。
日本酒を飲みながらの温泉は最高ですよ！
そしてのんびり畳の上で寝転んでゆっくりするのもオススメです。
