Munnar#Kerala#Hill station
Munnar is a hill station on the Western Ghats mountain range in Kerala, popularly known as God’s Own Country which is on the southern part of India.Easily accessible from Cochin and Coimbatore Airports . Around 3 hrs drive from Cochin city .Munnar is surrounded by tea plantations and is a home to Nilgiri Thar, endangered goat species.
Teagardens,museums ,ecotourism sites ,boating sites,waterfalls and misty climate makes it a wonderful experience.Neelakurinji flowers bloom once in every 12 years and it’s a beauty to see the hills covered with these flowers .Come and experience the real beauty of nature at its best

@NikhilPillai definitely one of my favorite places to spend some time, especially in Dec or Jan because the temperature goes way down. And sipping a cup of hot chaya by the road side and watching the world pass by. I have not been back there after the big flood 2 years ago, but will visit again to see what has changed. Thanks for sharing nice photos.

I have heard a lot of good things about this place from my friends and relatives who visited this gem of a place. I have plans to visit this beautiful place soon.

Best time to visit will be in Winter ,may be between November and February months.Weather will be nice and can enjoy the chillness too
