This is another popular hiking trail in bay area. This is definitely not for beginners for sure. Trail head is in Fremont, around 15 miles from San Jose downtown. Trail is 3 Mile long, going up and coming back will take around 5 hrs (This is for average person, not for extreme hikers who do this trail every week ? ) Once you reach the summit, you can see 360 degree view of the valley. You feel accomplished once you are on the top. Carry enough water, there are no shaded area, specially in summer it can get really hot here. In spite of tough hike, you see lot of hikers on this trail. People feel proud about themselves when they complete this hike.
