Missing points

When people started sharing things on the maps they have been updating with the respective points for the contribution. The very recently I’ve faced this issue that i made some of the contributions and upgraded to level 8th and i made some of the contributions after that,but as i went through the contributions the following mark has been down showing of level 7. so the details were can be checked by the time above.!

My app were updated one, but still their some issue need to be fixed.

Timings were provided for the information.

Hello,

I have modified a lot of place names. I have received from google that the change are ok and now the changes are online. But I don´t have received any points.

I also have added some missing websites. But also here no points. I’m just waiting more than 72 hours. What I have doing wrong?

I’d like to inform you, sometimes photos get removed from the maps, reviews get turned down for policy issue, etc. This could cause points decrease.

I have been participating in Maps Local Guide Program for a few years. I reached Level 7, 11,000 points, recently got 50 likes and Master reviewer. However, I lost 5,500 points today. It shows I only have 1 review, 0 ratings, 0 likes, and 0 views. All of my 275 reviews are still visible, but not summed up. Photo counts are were not disrupted. Any suggestions on how I can recover the lost data?

The “Your contributions” section is currently going through a disturbance in case of some LGs @macrobb2000
Let’s hope for a resolution in a week.
Meantime, I suggest you check your profile in an incognito mode.
That may indicate reliable information.

On the meantime, I want to let you know that "reviews may get taken down if others label them inaccurate or if they don’t comply with Google’s review policies. You can’t contact someone who left an inappropriate review, but you can request that Google remove it.". as indicated in Write reviews and add ratings of places

@macrobb2000 thank you for reaching out. I would suggest you to force a log-out on your devices by clicking on the Log Out button in the UI, clear browser cookies/cache, and Log back in.

Ermest, my situation is just like the one the just got resolved. I tried login from multiple computers and devices, same result. I also tried incognito mode, same result. It sill only shows 1 review, but all of them are there.

This has happened to me and as I wrote in my recent reply to a previous post about this same problem, and as suggested here by @VasT , I resolved this by logging out and clearing my browser cookies/cache.

No worries… I got the same problem… solution is simple…

  1. Logout from Google account…

  2. Remove the account from Accounts list

  3. Clear the Cache and history…

  4. Restart the device…

  5. Login again… and Add the account to the Device…

Wait for sometime, all the data will be visible…

What has happened? 2500 of my answers were removed. Why is that? Did i do domething wrong?

Anyone who can give an explanation why not sure answers are removed after weeks or months and initially are added???

I’ve lost about 900 points overnight.

I have logged out and cleared my cookies and cache. And looking at it via Incognito mode shows even fewer points.

I was at L7 but now have slipped back to L6.

This happens from time to time and is usually temporary @ChadSmith with the points returning in time. It could mean that there is spam cleanup going on too.

Things like contributing too many photos to a place, contributing photos to places that shouldn’t have them like cities and streets, selfies and duplication get cleaned up from time to time.

Also, In some situations like in a shopping Centre you simply are not sure… But 2500 points…

Some LG’s are facing a disturbance in the “Your contributions” statistics.
I rarely answered, “Not sure”. Even then, my answer count is becoming zero frequently. Surprisingly, that keeps on wavering between zero and the actual figure.
Hope to get that corrected soon.

I feel very sad. we earn those points hard way. and what they do is decrease pint in thousands., but at the time of giving, 1 point for rating 5 points for photo, 7 points for video, 5 review. sad

also, what exactly we should do, when we really not sure about the question asked.
