Missing points after editing review?

I have a question please help me out,

I have post my review about IKEA dubai but forgot to add pictures after posting my review i got points.

Then i edit my review and add 60 plus pictures but i didn’t get any points :frowning: notification. Can you please tell me either i received points or not? And when some one edit s one’s response so point added or deleted as per editing ?

@Fareeha-Saleem First thing, you do not need to upload photos when adding or editing a review. You can upload photos anytime to a POI on Maps.

Second thing, please check your contributions to see if your photos are public. If they are public and have been published then you have got the points.

Also, try to upload your best shots to a location on maps. 60 photos of a location at times seems too much. :slight_smile:

Well i used to take pics of each and every corner of the the place and post my detailed review usually. All the pictures are related to that place and google map allow us to post around 1000 photos in one turn i guess (please correct me if i am wrong)

Anyways thank you @SaifIS next onwards i ll keep your advice in my mind. Hope to see you in Nov19 @California

Hi

I would email Google to let them know what’s going on.

Then Google can review your account and see what you posted. They will email you back explaining what’s going on and if you need to do anything to the post.

So just email Google they will help you out.

Your review and photos at Ikea Dubai are visible on Google Maps.

Sometimes it happens to me as well to forget to add the photos when I’m posting the review. What I usually do is to save the text, delete the review and create a new one by adding the photos that I have in mind. When you post your reviews and your photos, you should get points for everything you contributed. If you edit your review the points shouldn’t disappear.
