I want to review a business I visited and traveled to using google maps but it is not showing up in my time line.

It happens sometimes when your cell phone goes in sleep mode (you can say) or due to high speed of vehicle you’re traveling with. Did you saw the name of POI when you entered/visited there? You can edit your timeline too btw… You can open maps and track your path to know where exactly you were…
Hi. Thanks for your reply. I was stopped and I went in and I took photos so I don’t think my phone is on sleep mode and I was certainly not driving by too fast. I also traced it back in my timeline of where had I had been that day and I could see Google Maps showed me driving at that spot but when I try to click on the business nothing happened

The most likely answer though since you’ve tried to open the place is that it is not really a place on Maps. Each place has two elements, both are needed for it to work from a Local Guides sense. You need the drawn part which appears on the Map and you need the data behind. There are many places on Maps which are drawn but don’t have the data.
The best (only) way to correct these is to use the Send Feedback option within the App and ask for it to be addressed.

Oh now it is on the map. It’s a very sophisticated business that spent a lot of money on Advertising including on Google. I was able to use your advice to get it added to my timeline. I guess I can just wait and hope that I got a requested to review it.
