Missing Likes, Owner response and Number of views on Maps

Well, this post title says it all.

I do not contribute to Maps often, and then when I do, it is a few Reviews or adding photos to various places over a couple of days. Then there may be a couple of weeks or longer before there is more activity from me.

I have noticed that my recent period Reviews (say, the last six or so) no longer show the number of views, no Likes, nor any Owner replies, even though I receive Google Maps emails keeping me up to date with these things. As far as I know, I have the latest version of Maps. My Samsung ZFlip phone now has Android14.

I am wondering if this is a sign that I am being phased out of the Local Guides program?

I have gone through your process and, as you say, all seems fine.

Since writing this post, I have noticed when using Maps app and viewing some recent reviews, that some of these things are now appearing on the reviews, though not all. Whereas when clicking onto my account profile picture in Maps and tapping Your Profile, the information is still not showing.

I had decided there was a disconnect between Maps and my Google account for some reason. I won’t worry about it. Cheeri-pip :wave:

If you for some not Maps related reasons used a second Google account this could explain the symptoms you described.

But, moving on is so important. Just keep an eye on it.

Thanks for that idea @MortenCopenhagen . I have only the one Google account.
