Missing hundreds of photos and 360 panoramas from my contributions.

Hi every one,

3 days ago i have noticed that literally hundreds of photos and 360 panoramas have disappeard from my contributions.
During last year i have managed to get the trusted photographer badge, and since then i have uploaded thausand of pictures from many different clients. All taken with full frame camera, nodal ninja etc. So the issue is not related with poor quality images. The shoots still show up in my profile, but not in places profiles.
Is there any solution to restore the photos? I am now getting calls from my clients asking for the images…
Any help whould be appriciated.

Hi @Brunex1 are you talking about numbers or you are aware of some pictures that really disappeared?

Some months ago, happened to me to lose around 600 panoramic photos from my counter, but I was not able to find missing ones, because I’ve uploaded more than 4000 photos.

Anyway, after some weeks, the counter showed me my photos back.

Sorry, If I understand better, your photos are still in your profile tab in SV app, but are marked as “rejected from maps”?

Hi Lucio,

The photos show up in my local guide profile in Google Maps in the contributions tab. But if you click in the added places, the places that I have created or the places where I added photos, they don’t show up. For example, I have added photos and panoramas to many restaurants, which I can see them in my profile, but when I click in the restaurant profile, they are not there.

Hi Lucio,

Regarding the numbers I don’t know exactly how many I had uploaded. The photos simply vanished from my customers profile. Normal photos and panoramas with virtual tours.

But are still on maps? If you click in the business area you can see them using Street View app?

Maybe they lost the connection to business, and you simply can re-link using SV app.

Hi again,

I have been checking now and in fact all of my photos and panoramas don’t show up in the profiles I have uploaded them to. I can only see them in my Google maps account. I went to check my personal content settings and everything is set to on.

Also in SV app, the panoramas show in my profile but in statistics options in Google approved photos is 0. And my status as Available for hire as a trusted photographer is off, but in settings is on. All messed up…

Hi LĂşcio,

Any thoughts on what might have happened ? I tried to upload some panoramas to a business place I had done before but they don’t show up any more. I had uploaded 7000 photos and 500 panoramas, all gone… Any one can help me on this?

I have sent 3 different situations to the link you have provided. But in fact all of my photos, panormas and normal ones, are inactive in business profiles.

I can see them in my contributions in Google Maps, but whe you go to the businesses profiles they are not there. The strange thing is that they keep adding views in the counter…i can see that in my contributions, but they don´t show up any where… I only use SV app to build virtual tours. All my uploads are made in Google Maps. In my SV profile, it says i have uploaded 533 panoramas and 3500 photos, but there are 0 approved by Google… I once were a trusted photographer.

could you please check your privacy settings as explained here?

It seems that the problem of not visible tours is not coming from our side.
