During the pandemic, biking is and will be an even more popular leisure activity, while social distancing. My wife and I (newlywed!) are exploring bike trails in the region, and beyond. We have noticed missing bike trails that google maps needs to add. Is there a way that we can suggest such routes as local guides?

Yes, you can suggest bike paths added to Google Maps. It is just like adding a new road. You just select the road type to be a bike path.

You have not mentioned your region.
Adding roads through the help and feedback route may not be available in every region.
If so, then you will have to use another alternative.
