Hello everyone! Today I will tell you about my first meeting with “Miss Liberty”. Arriving at this giant of copper weighing 225 tons for a wingspan of 46.50 meters you feel really small. Perhaps even worse than the Eiffel Tower, because yes I am French. I find this monument really fascinating and beautiful, in a city I love. It is above all a symbol of which the West shares values, freedom, resistance to oppression. But this statue is also freedom between peoples, as well as freedom in the world.
Hi @Valdax ,
Cool photos! Can you tell us more about your travels to New York? Was this your first time there? The Statue of Liberty looks really amazing and grand in my opinion. Did you go up? What did you like most about New York? What time of the year did you visit?
Yes was my first time in New York, I found this city so good, big and beautiful. It really changes from France, and I think the Americans are friendly. I went to New York during the October period, it was a bit cold some times but in the end it doesn’t change much from France. Otherwise, no, I didn’t climb the Statue of Liberty but I was lucky enough to be able to climb to the top of the Empire State Building, or visit Columbia University, or even Staten Island where it shot American Nightmare 4.
@Valdax Wow that must’ve been a really cool experience. I also really want to go to New York even during Christmas I think it will be magical.
