I reallt want to know how to report fake business profiile on google maps for businesses that don’t exists , they are just misleading ! My siggedyion are always pending
Hello @NorahGuetari just tap on the buisness and then select suggest an edit.
Then select Do select Place closed or does not exist then select doesn’t exist here.
If the profile will be fake it will accept your edit

It depends of the place.
- If the place existed in the location (e.g. the place has photos and reviews) the listing should be edited and flagged as “closed”.
- If the place never existed it should be edited and flagged as “not existing”
- if the place is fake and misleading, and it’s claimed, you can use this form to report it to Google Business Profile: Business Redressal Complaint Form - Google Business Profile Help
Basically the way to report it depends of the issue.

I completely understand your concern — I’ve encountered the same issue as well.
In my area, there are multiple fake profiles under the same business name, and even after reporting them or suggesting edits like “Place doesn’t exist,” the response often comes back as “Not accepted.”
It’s definitely frustrating, especially when such listings mislead users and clutter Google Maps with inaccurate information.
I truly hope Google strengthens its review process, especially when multiple Local Guides flag the same issue.
Let’s continue doing our part by reporting such profiles, and hopefully, with more voices from the community, the issue will get the attention it deserves.
