I was on a cruise when at the end our flight was cancelled. As compensation they offered the whole group a trip around Gran Canaria with a free meal and drinks. Looking back I’m really happy that the flight got cancelled because we got to see a whole other part of Gran Canaria. The part were tourism is the biggest the island is just a desert but on the other side of the mountain it’s a green oasis.
If you are ever vising Gran Canaria I would really advise you to take a look there.
