Seen of Krishna Leela, Raja ka Mahal, Orchha Fort, Madhya Pradesh, India
In reality art has no limits. The artist mirrors the human concepts and prevalent cultures around him. Miniature paintings of Raja Ka Mahal are remarkably best of Rajput art.
These paintings often exhibits the Hindu religious stories and various social activities.
In Bundi Chitrashala soft colours were used while in Orchha use of vibrant colours is significant.
Most of these paintings are painted on walls, ceilings, niches and door tops.
The doors and windows of these rooms are mostly closed due to which lack of light remains a major obstruction in understanding the paintings.
What I noticed that mostly visitors miss this vivid art heritage.
This is much time consuming for the art lovers and those who are interested in Indian mythology they can further enjoy these miniature paintings which are well preserved. Hence King’s palace Orchha is famous for its miniature paintings.
