‘Bibi-Ka-Maqbara’ is a tomb, constructed in the year 1661 in memory of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb’s wife, Dilras Banu Begum (popularly known as Begum or Bibi). The tomb is also known as ‘Mini Taj Mahal’.
This elegant and graceful monument is situated in the historical city of Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India and on the road between Daulatabad and Aurangabad.
This is a very popular attraction in Aurangabad and the monument along with the backdrop of the mountain ranges looks very beautiful.

Welcome to my home town, Vijay, though I do not live there any longer.
It is fun to remember how my childhood was spent visiting the Biwi-ka-Makbara when every time some relatives or friends visited us and it was our duty to take them to the best places around in Aurangabad, obviously after visiting Ellora and Ajanta.
Did you also visit the Pan-Chakki which is a very interesting place and not much far from the Makbara?
