You must hire a car after reaching Bandarban. It will take three hours to reach Thanchi, on the journey you cross the highest highway of Bangladesh called Pick 69 which is the highest elevation of 690 meters, the mountainous zigzag road, which seems like a snake, the mountainous road will rise and down. This would seem to be you rolling through the Roller Coasters.
After reaching to Thanchi, You have to hire tour guide who arrange a boat to go Remakree. When you see that there are many stones in the Sangu River, where your boat will be crossing among the stone it seems your boat will be hit by stone. This big stone is well known as Boropathor , which has shortened the river and you would seem to enter to the Heaven.
There are many small guest houses in Remakee Bazar where you have to stay night to overcome a lot of fatigue journey. You have to sleep a bit and save energy for the next day.
It is necessary to leave in the early morning for starting trekking at least 2 hour walk, so as much weight as possible to reduce, there will be knee water on the path. You will have to go to the small hills at any time. You have to spend a lot of body calories. When you see the Nafakhum waterfall that will end in all troubles. It’s a 20-25 ft water-drop across the Remakri canal. Throughout the year, there is large flow of water in this beautiful waterfall.
