The story is nice, and it is quite interesting to see that a business take the name from “Atlas”.

Salterio’s maps is from 1265, @AnshukMitra

As you can see it is very basic and it is difficult to see what countries are represented in there

But the Planispherium by Enrico Martello (1490) is indeed showing India in there
