Milk Toffee - Simple & Delicious

We made Milk Toffee at home today as we are about to celebrate Sinhala and Hindu new year ! Simply we celebrate at home as we are presently under curfew .

I would love to share the recipie of the Milk toffee we made

Our Recipe

Milk maid large tin 1( 510g)

Water 50 -75 ml
Sugar 500gm
Chopped Cashew 100gm
Vanilla 2 table spoons
Cardamon 3/4 table spoon
Butter 60 gm
Plums 50 gm

How we made

1.Add milk maid tin to the pan
Mix remaining milkmaid with water
2.Add sugar and mix them well until sugar is dissolved well
3. cook with low flame by stirring for about 15-20 minutes .

4.Add butter ( Unsalted )
5.Add cashew.
6.Add vanilla & cardoman

7.When the mixture become thicker and at last step add plums and switch off the flame
8.Mix well and Pour the mixture into a greased pan

9.once the mixture set well cut it into pieces
