​I’m thrilled to share a massive milestone I recently hit on Google Maps.
As you can see in the screenshot I’ve attached, one of my photos has officially crossed the 500,000 views mark!
The picture is of the Mother’s Hut Family Food Court. When I took and uploaded this shot of their vibrant sign and exterior, my goal was simply to help travelers and families spot the location easily. I never imagined it would end up reaching half a million people!
​Seeing the notification from Google Maps letting me know that my photo is “helping in a big way” is incredibly rewarding. It is exactly why I love being a part of this program—it’s a wonderful reminder of the real-world impact our everyday contributions have on the community and on local businesses.
