microjourneys

By using Google Maps I want to show all busy people (including young parents) that the world is at your fingertips. Great adventures and incredibly tasty snacks don’t have to mean travelling to a three-star restaurant on another continent. From a little greenery on the corner of the street we live on, where the owner knows whether my son prefers broccoli or cauliflower, through a barista from a nearby café, who remembers not only all his customers’ names and their favorite coffees, but also keeps up to date with what is happening in their lives, to few hints from local guides that helped me discover Keith Haring’s mural at the back of a warehouse in Amsterdam.

With Google Maps I can share my “microjourneys” - filled with coffee, contemporary art, and urban snacking – with my community.
