Today I will talk about Patara,Thai restaurant with good atmosphere, Located in the heart of Bangkok, Thonglor, also known as Japanese town in Thailand.
If you want to taste traditional and delicious Thai cuisine in Bangkok, then Patara is a must go place. their ambiance to service and traditional dishes to taste. Me and my friend chose to try gastro II set course.
From left to right is Deep fried Thai fish cakes served withcucumber salsa, Crisp salt and chill soft shell crab served with green mango salad and Honey marinated chicken fried in pandanus leaves.
White soup : Galangal coconut soup or Tom Kha Khi
Clean one is Spicy smoked fish soup with sea bass fillet and herbs.
Most of my foreign friends like tom kha gai (White soup) very much. I think it’s because it’s easy to find overseas. different from another one which is not easy to find But I want to tell you that It’s delicious. Aromatic scent of dried fish and Thai herbs. that comes with a little spicy It’s so good.
Main dishes are served in large plates to share and I missed taking pictures of Free range chicken. green curry with Thai eggplant.
This set course will be served for at least 2 guests. The price is about 1675 baht per person.
I love every dish here. including location and service But if you ask me which dish I love the most I can only say You can’t miss Spicy smoked fish soup. It’s excellent.
