After I met with Google maps, I began to add new streets, houses, and transport.
Since in my locality all these objects were drawn. These were of great importance - since it was often impossible to find a house, cafe or restaurant, a particularly big problem was finding a grocery store.
Ordering a taxi was and still is a problem - half the main program of which is used by the taxi services of my city - Google Map, and at the moment (after closing Google Map Maker) you cannot add or fix the streets.
Now I add new companies, change information about old ones and add ratings with reviews. I think this helps people to find out about new cafes, restaurants and shops - and also to learn about the quality of service in them. Testimonials motivate companies that provide good service - keep it at the same level, and with bad service - improve it.
I would gladly add and edit such places if there were such a function:
- new houses and roads
- names of parks
- bicycle lanes
- sidewalks
- routes for sports (for example, forest roads for jogging)
- children’s and sports grounds
