When he you enter the resort’s reception room, the receptioninst will hand you a bunch of colorful flowers with welcome drink (freshly picked coconut from trees). After the drink, the resort authoriteis will arrange you for a bungalow called ‘Road Lover Squid’. The names of the remaining 30 villas and bungalows are the same.
The house where you will be staying is really a eye-cathing. On the outside, it looks like a cottage, but on the inside, it has all the modern conveniences.
The moment you enter the bathroom, the mind becomes refresh. There is a herbal shampoo in a glass container instead of market shampoo covered with green tree leaves. Soap and shampoo are kept in a coconut shell.
Mermaid Eco Resort has used as little as possible all the things that are harmful to the environment.
All the bungalows have been built while maintaining the natural environment of the Pechardwip. Yoga centers, spas, boat trips, conference rooms, theaters are all now available at this eco-friendly leisure center. Architect Ziauddin Khan designed the original Mermaid Eco Resort.
There are no civil noises or shoutings. When you see the sunset by siting on the bamboo bench in front of the cottage, your mind will refresh. The time is also quite good for going out on a boat trip.
After walking through the rows of bungalows and coconut trees, you can find the banks of Reju Canal. There, the water of Reju canal, a branch of the sea, has just started turning blue during the sunset with various Sampan floated by.
A flock of red crabs will be seen as soon as you set foot on the sand. The tamarisk forest seems to welcome you in the beach. Then you can lost in joy in the lonely beach. You never know when the day will pass. On the way back, even if the evening passed, there will be no harm.
No matter how hurry you are, you will miss a lot if you don’t sit on the deck of the boat club. Full moon in the sky, water of the sea will draw you in an astonishing silence. If you want, you can stay leaning till late at night. No one will bother you.
