I invite all of you to do a Memorizing Mapmaker Meetup.
If can be a real Meetup or a Virtual Meetup via Hangout.
We can post each of our “last” GMM edit URL here. We should write about what we miss most about GMM (which function we want to see in Maps very first, or which function must be done right before released in Maps, etc).

應該可以的. 這是我覺得在Hangout中可以談的事情:
- 讓我們來很快的回顧一下 GMM 是什麼
- 有那些GMM的功能,我們最想Maps很快就會有同等的功能
- 把我們最後一個GMM的更改連結分享出來.
- 把我們最後的GMM 成績表分享出來.
- 你覺得闗閉GMM是做對了嗎?

I have never use mapmaker, for quick read, its pretty similar with one function of google map?

Hi @KenHuang ,
If you never use MapMaker, I consider it is not worth the effort to learn the Toolset (The User Interface of the tool) now.
But when we are “forced” to use MapMaker in the past, it is much easier for us to learn why things need to be done in a specific way. (The rules of Mapping, or Policy of Mapping.) The Policies will likely carried over to LG doing edits in Maps. But of course, a lot will have to be updated to reflect the change of toolset.
Below are some that I missed most:
- Able to input Primary and Secondary Names for Places
- 7-11, 7-Eleven
- Able to input Names in multiple language.
- Currently in Maps, this is limited to Local Language and our Maps’ Language. (So if I need to edit names in Chinese, English and Japanese, I need to change the Language of my mobile.)

Able to see the edit history of a place
