স্বাধীনতা স্তম্ভ বাংলাদেশের মুক্তিযুদ্ধের স্মারক হিসেবে নির্মিত একটি স্মৃতিস্তম্ভ।
এটি ঢাকা শহরের কেন্দ্রস্থলে অবস্থিত সোহরাওয়ার্দী উদ্যানের উত্তর পাশে স্থাপিত “শিখা চিরন্তন” -এর বরাবর দক্ষিণ দিকে অবস্থিত । এটি একই সাথে একটি জাদুঘরও বটে । কংক্রিটের উপরে কাঁচে মোড়ানো এই স্তম্ভের সামনেই রয়েছে অগভীর বিশাল জলাধার , অনেকে কৌতুক করে যাকে “গরীবের টেমস নদী” বলে থাকে । এর পূর্ব পাশে রয়েছে ভূগর্ভস্ত স্বাধীনতা জাদুঘর-এ যাওয়ার সিঁড়ি। সন্ধ্যা বেলায় কাঁচ নির্মিত স্তম্ভটি একটি আলোকস্তম্ভে পরিণত হয় যা দূর থেকে দেখলে মনে হয় আকাশ ভেদ করে চলে গেছে ।
স্বাধীনতা স্তম্ভের নকশা করেছেন কাশেফ মাহবুব চৌধুরী ও মেরিনা তাবাসসুম।

The Independence Pillar is a memorial built in memory of the liberation war of Bangladesh.
It is located on the south side of “Eternal Flame” , which in the north side of Suhrawardy Uddayn of Dhaka city . It is also a museum. Concrete-pile covered with glass , there is a shallow water reserve , which many deride as the “Poor Thames”. To the east is the staircase of the underground museum of independence. In the evening, the glass pillars turned into a ignite light beam, which when viewed from a distance looked like a hole in the sky crossed over .
