Mělník je historické město založeno okolo roku 1000 . Jádrem je zámek nad soutokem řek Vltava - Labe kde byl postaven lodní obchodní přístav v roce 1928 . Zámek pod kterým se nachází rozsáhlé vinice patří rodu Lobkowiczů a je přístupný veřejnosti .
