Mehrangarh Fort - Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India

Exploring through travelling has always been up my alley. Hence my inclination and passion for it drives me towards contributing to my Local Guide involvement.

Back in 2007, one of the significantly conspicuous discoveries I made, as a part of my exploration was that I could not find my home town I,e. Greater Noida (U.P.) and my native town Ladnun (Rajasthan) on Google Maps. Knowing the great significance of both the cities, I felt the need to put the both on Google Map and be benefited from, I took it on to create it on the map and mark them from scratch.

To the left of the fort is the chhatri of Kirat Singh Soda, a soldier who fell on the spot defending the Mehrangarh fort. Read More
