Meetup Was not approved

My Movie Meetup was not approved due to the short description. I thought of holding this meetup to cheer up the terrified LGs after the Ester bomb attack. Make a distraction and at least have a few hours of enjoyment.

I had to post it in a hurry(bcz I got the idea very last minute) to get the correct date for the movie which is the next Sunday. if I post a new meetup the earliest date I could hold the meetup is next Monday which we don’t have practical show time people can attend. If I postpone it to next weekend, the Avengers End Game movie which everybody was waiting for will be out of the Cinema theater.

Could I edit the previous meetup post with all required data so that we could hold the meetup on Sunday where many can attend?

@SampsonF , @PaulPavlinovich , @GeorgesHR , @ermest @KarenVChin@TraciC Appreciate your earliest response.

hi @ravindus

Connect Moderators that you taggged in here are Local Guides like you, and will address you to this post: How to organize a successful meet-up.

Even if I understand what you want to do, giving an appropriate description related to a meet-up topic will take just a few more minutes.

Traci is an admin (not a Google Moderator), with different kind of responsability, and should not be tagged as she isn’t on the Meet the Google Moderators list.

I suggest you to submit the meet-up again, making the required improvement, it will be faster than responding here. Good luck

Note: I didn’t received any notification for the tag. Did you wrote a tag, or simply copied a link?

@ErmesT , I understand. The problem is if I post a new meetup today I can’t hold the meetup on Sunday. That’s why I’m trying to get my original post edited.

If I post a new meetup earliest date I’m allowed to hold the meetup is on next Monday. Which is not practical as it is a working date. if I postpone it to next weekend the Most awaited movie will be out of the 3D theaters by then. :frowning: Is there any way I could Post to hold my meetup on next Sunday?

Regarding the tag, Yes I did copy and paste. Thought it is fine, does it not ?

Thanks for your quick turnaround. :slight_smile:

No, a copy - paste doesn’t generate any notification @ravindus , that’s probably the reason why nobody was responding here.

Again, I suggest you to post a new meet-up (My personal tought). Tagging @GeorgesHR for a feedback

Hi @ravindus ,

If your previous meet-up was rejected, you wont be able to edit the application, you will need to create a new one.

Please make sure the new application is related to the Local Guides program.
