Al terminar el primer meetup de Murales Monumentales todos los participantes quedamos con el deseo de seguir conociendo y analizando otros murales de Rivera, Siqueiros y Orozco. Así que nos reuniremos nuevamente antes de que acabe este año y además nos sumamos al #CommunityMeetUpChallenge como parte de las actividades que rodean el #CommunityLive2020.
En esta ocasión conoceremos todos los detalles del mural que Diego Rivera realizó para el Rockefeller Center en Nueva York y que al ser develado fue destruido por instrucciones de Nelson Rockefeller
Revisaremos murales de David Alfaro Siqueiros y platicaremos como esta relacionado con la muerte de Leon Trotsky.
También conoceremos más del estilo de José Clemente Orozco y cual es el mural de 70 metros de largo de su autoría. ¿Sabias que este pintor solo tenía una mano?

Nice one @LightRich ! I got slightly confused because your post was in English but I was sure that your meet-up was in Spanish (I watched your video from the first meetup to confirm!)
By the way, your video is very good and I like the captured layout that you did. Could I ask what’s your setup for recording and are you using any extension for meet or do you have any tips? I’m using OBS and Google Grid Meet View but I can’t remember if my Meet layout is the same as yours. Hope you don’t mind helping me!
Hahaha @AdrianLunsong , it´s so strange because all #TeamTacos´s meetups have been held in spanish until now, but we´re planning to host/repeat some meetups in english for 2021 (specially those about “Pueblos Mágicos” that were a total success). You´re gonne have an invitation when that happens, that´s for sure!
Regarding the technical stuff i´m a total rookie, but i have full support from #TeamTacos. All of them are very talented and supportive friends. For this meetup @Imperiospice was in charge of live broadcasting of the meetup. I´m pretty sure that she will help you with the details.
@LightRich Great to hear that you’ll be hosting some meet-ups in English and looking forward to them! And also big huge kudos for doing your meet-ups in Spanish too! It’s great to have meet-ups in different languages too! We need Google Translate to be deeply integrated into Meet to do a live transcription/translation!
@Imperiospice Wow… secret skills that you have there!! I hope you can help give me some good tips on how to broadcast live and doing recording… ideally before Community Live happens! Side note: we are just doing a recording and then editing the videos later. Going live is very challenging with so many sessions, different time zones etc.
¡Hola! Of course, it would be great, if I can help you stream and crosspost with the pages of Mexico and surely those of Argentina. we can do it on 100 different pages at the same time in Facebook
Thanks @Imperiospice ! For this event, we will just be doing recording but good to know that you can do the streaming to so many pages on Facebook! Is that free to do so? I rarely use Facebook but it seems to have gotten more ‘complicated’ with the business settings and the advanced stuff that’s possible now.
