Welcome to Connect, a great online forum for Local Guides from all over the world to hang out, share their local knowledge/passion and make new friends!
If you’re looking for meet-ups, you can check out the upcoming meet-ups page. Needless to say, you’ll have to keep checking regularly to find any meet-ups that would like to join. You may find that it might be challenging to find meet-ups happening in your area though as it just depends if there are any other active Local Guides there. My recommendation is to join some virtual meet-ups that are not location specific just to meet folks and get a feel for it.
Also, there’s a ton of useful resources at the Help Desk tab. I’ve picked out a few posts that you may find useful:
How do I search on Connect? - You can use this to help you find Local Guides in your area by searching for your town/city/area or by using a keyword.
How to make the most of creating and finding relevant posts on Connect - Another useful resource to help you find relevant posts.
Your guide to Connect - This is a great starting point if you’re unfamiliar with Connect and the features that it has. A definite post to read!
