I am from 20.04. until 27.04.2019 on Gozo. Is or is Google Guide at this time? You could meet there and look at ewtas or other company? I would be really happy. I will live in Marsalforn. And here you can see from my trip to Gozo where I was once. It is also very nice here on Gozo.

It is great that you wish to meet Local Guides from the place you are traveling to.
I would recommend creating a meet-up on our meet-up site and interested Local Guides in your area can indicate their interest via RSVP. You can share your meet-up more widely on your social channels, which may garner your friends or family to become Local Guides too!

As @Feraugajr mentioned, the RSVP abbreviation is used to answer an invitation weather you are or not attend.
Your meet-up would be more visible if published on the meet-up site. For that reason I suggested its creation there.

Doch, Yvonne, es ist gut bei mir angekommen! Ich war jetzt mit 10 Leuten in Rom und wieder begeistert! Ich bin nicht drauf, habe fotografiert in der Kirche Gregorio Magno. Gozo kenne ich nicht, sicher sehr schön mit viel Grün.
Bitte teile mir mit, ob es geklappt hat, ich sandte Dir ein Foto meiner Gruppe. Das bin ich in meiner letzten Ausstellung mit selbst entworfenem Schmuck mit 24 Ct Blattgold und im Hintergrund meine Städtebilder.

@Monikaschacherer ja, es hat geklappt. Ja, das wäre richtig toll, wenn wir zwei Deutschen dabei sein dürften. Kann man wenigstens auch deutsch reden, oder wenn man was nicht verstanden hat gegenseitig sich unterstützen. Kannst du gut englisch sprechen? Ich spreche leider nicht so oft, daher etwas ein gerostet. Hast du dich wohl schon beworben? Alles weg gesendet? Ich habe immer das Gefühl, das ich etwas nicht richtig gemacht habe, oder etwas falsch. Mal sehen. Würde mich riesig freuen.

Mein Englisch war 1963 (Abitur) vorbei, aber es blieb was hängen. Diesen >Monat leite ich noch eine Gruppe in München, muss jetzt mein neues >Programm für die VHS bis Mai nächsten Jahres abgeben, grade waren 17 Leute zu Gast: Rom-Nachlese. Dann gebe ich noch einen Schmuckkurs, einen Kunstgeschichte-Kurs. Mein Video hat mein Sohn Frank in Hamburg aufgenommen und weg geschickt. Ich bin ja kein “Digital Native” wie er. Er programmiert in seiner Freizeit für AI (Artificial Intelligence) für die Stanford University, sonst ist er Vizepräsident einer Firma und reist auch viel rum, wie ich. Dabei versuche ich immer für alle Mitreisenden das Günstigste auszuhandeln, die Romreise hat mit allem (Flug, Hotel, Fahrten, Transfer) pro Person 6 Tage nur 500-600 € gekostet. Meine nächsten Reisen: München, Berlin, Erzgebirge mit Senioren, Schottland , Sachsen, Dann muss ich mein Dach sanieren lassen.
Und vielleicht im November nach USA, wäre schön - aber das müssen 10.000-100.000 sein, die da eingeladen wurden, sich zu bewerben! Nach welchen Kriterien ausgewählt wird, weiß man nicht. Ich habe mir die Zeit mal Kursfrei & Reisefrei gehalten. Ich bin auch Mutter - mein 2. Sohn wohnt in München und kommt mit den Enkelinnen (6 + 9 Jahre) demnächst her. Aber die Söhne sind wohl noch älter als Du, 48 + 46 Jahre alt.
