MEET-UPS @ Te Rewa Rewa Bridge

Hey There, This is KunalShaha10 a Local Guide. And I m arranging a Meet Up as well as “Cleaning Campaign” for the Community know as “Trashformers”. It is quite similar to “#TrashTag Challenge”.

Join the “Trashformers” to clean up the Te Rewa Rewa Bridge area. We are trying to collect as many People as Possible. Bring the whole family, along with buckets and gloves.

Meet at the “Te Rewa Rewa Bridge.”

At this beach clean up, We’ll be collecting and cleaning plastic, then will put into machines that we’ve made to reduce plastics Wastes on our waters.

Hopeful To Meet you and get all your Support.

Hi @Kunalshaha10 and welcome to Connect!

Thank you for bringing up this fantastic initiative! I just wanted to let you know that you can also organize a meet-up on our Meet-up platform. Once your meet-up is approved, it will automatically appear as a post in the Meet-ups topic section for other Local Guides to participate. Feel free to share your meet-up link more widely on your social channels, and invite as many Local Guides as you want.

Here is more information that may be helpful, especially if it’s your first time hosting:

Hello @RadieN and Thanks for the Welcome.
Its My Pleasure to bring up this initiative. I have organized a meet-up on our Meet-up platform as well. I realized just after posting it here. I need some assistance on bringing up the New Zealand local guides to join this Initiative. Can you help me find Local guides from the New Zealand here on Local Guide Connect.

Hi @Kunalshaha10 ,

You can always search in Connect for mentions of New Zealand to find posts that have that name in the title, body of the post, or the location tag. Feel free to jump into these conversations and engage with the Local Guides near you.

Here I found a Local Guide who is also suggesting a Meet-up in New Zealand - @AdventuresWithRosy . Other Local Guides from New Zealand that I found are @Lia_T , @Grant1 , @KCKarmaker .

Looks like a fabulous initiative. @Kunalshaha10

If I had been anywhere close, I would have come to offer support. However as I have an injury preventing me from walking well, it wouldn’t have been possible at the moment to participate.
