Hello! I was wondering if there were already any meet-ups for the greater Boston area? Or any national park gatherings? I live in Lowell, and downtown Lowell is a national park
I was thinking about arranging a meet up in Boston to do the Black Heritage Trail on either the 20th or 21st around Beacon Hill.
How many local guides are also Ingress agents? We could do a mission series walk, possibly. I think the heritage trail is part of a few.

Hi there,
I am in Lowell myself, and to be honest I think there is a lot that the Mill City could benefit from when it comes to this type of thing. Did you have anything in mind?

If anyone plans something, that would be awesome. I’ve still yet to attend any local guides meet-ups but it would be cool to build up our local community a bit.
I live in Eastie and work in DTX. It’d be neato to meet up and be like “I also use the Google Maps application”.
So, anyone want to pick a weekend and plan a cool event for our Boston-area local guides?
Any weekend after this I’m down.
Awesome, that sounds good. Any cool ideas of where to go or what to do?
How many local guides are there in Boston?
Maybe we can get a group together and hit one of the small theater groups like Speakeasy Stage Co. I’m sure they’d do something cool for guides (they seem to be very forward thinking and aware of social). Then food nearby?

Speakeasy Stage Co sounds like an awesome idea! I’m in… any other guides around here that would want to do something like that too?
I’m not really into the theatre thing, but that’s because we’d be meeting for the first time and not interacting with each other since we’re all watching a performance. It’s like going to the movies on a first date
Actually if we plan it with a “talk back” at the end of the show, it’s a great way to have a shared experience and have something immediate to talk about
Did this meetup end up happening? If not, let’s get something going soon with this nice weather coming into play. Charles River has a great, inexpensive boat tour that could be worthwhile for taking photos and getting to know one another.
Enlightened here!
Is there a community/pagr for Boston local guides?
