Can somebody explain me why it is so difficult to get poeple motivated to organize a Meetup in Lausanne (Switzerland)?

Hello @HermanHL ! I’m sure there are many Local Guides who don’t mind a meet-up but don’t know how/where to reach out to and are not sure how to go around doing it.
To organise a meet-up, I recommend finding and connecting Local Guides in your area first. Try searching the community for mentions of “Lausanne” to find posts that have that name in the title, body of the post, or the location tag. Feel free to jump into those threads and connect with the Local Guides.
There isn’t a minimum number of Local Guides needed for meet-ups. It can be a 2 people meet-up; having 10 Local Guides is a bonus. It’s most important to enjoy your time. You can start out small and gradually inspire and grow a enthusiastic community in Lausanne.

Salut Lémanique, je prends bonne note. Je penses organiser le 1er Meet-up Lausanne courant Septembre, quand tout le monde est de retour de vacances. Puis-je te solliciter le moment venu afin d’avoir un coup de main? Ça pourrait être drôle d’organiser cela sur Lausanne. Il faut juste avoir une bonne idée et un bon circuit pour se fendre la poire.
Oui oui. Je suis pas sur qu’on aie les mêmes inspirations et objectifs “se fendre la poire” par exemple. Mais oui, à voir
