It is great that you are looking for connecting with other Local Guides in your area. I’m moving your post to the Let’s Meet-Up board, where you can check out discussions of passed and planned events. I’d also recommend you to organize a meet-up and gather with your friends Local Guides on different topics such as photo walk, food crawl, map editing or geo walk.
As you are new to Connect, please check out these tips for a good start:
