On September 2018 I’ve got a chance to go Bangladesh-China youth camp in Yunnan, China. I made some good friends on there and @Zahid_opalone of them.
We stayed there for 14 days. We roamed the city and made some good moments all together. I’ve introduced him about Google Local guides and how it works. He is very interested and inspired by this.
After coming back to his county. where he goes he always tries to contribute on google map. After a few days he called me and thanked me for making him a Local guide because on that day, he walked about 1 km for searching an ATM booth but when he got he was really shocked because it was 100m away from him and it’s not in google map. He added this place on the map immediately and took some photos. he was really soo pleased because he realized someone is going to get help with his contribution.
When I checked his profile after 2 months, I was really shocked that what he did,
on his area, it looks like he is running a marathon race and talking photos almost every day. where he goes he talking photos and asking the shopkeeper or the Owner for their business details, menu etc. I’ve checked his profile a couple of times, all of his contributions are unique and informative.
yesterday when I went for a meet with him, suddenly he said wait a minute, maybe this restaurant is not on google map, I have to take some pictures…
sometimes, we are making fun with him for calling “Jujube seller” who sells jujube in localguides connect because his first post on here is about “jujube” ?
it’s my pleasure that I made some extremely crazy local guides like him.
