I had upload many photographs and tried to see what kind of photos is more meaningful and informative. Here are some of my observations:

  1. Provide the overall scene. The photos must include the retail shop name of location name.
  2. Atmosphere. Photos should include some patrons and customers, shows the surrounding.
  3. Details. It should shows some product or services provided by the service provider. Shows some images of the service staffs.
  4. Some how I feel that the more photos there are the better it can provide information about the place. So I am usually very slavished with the clicking of photographs and uploading.

I always wonder and suspect that AI are used to select photos to push out to their users. I wonder what are those criteria and how we would do better in getting the right photographs. Yes some felt that now we are submitting to the AI and we are now controlled by them. How can we not create those typical photos and yet provide information and be creative with our craft and skill? Those are some of my questions.

I have noticed that on your Google Maps contributions, you have uplaoded lot of duplicate pictures, pictures of kids and also some of friends or family. For example, your contributions on Little Skool House (you have uploaded 73 photos and many are the same) and on ceramically, there are pictures of a lady. It would be good if you could avoid doing this as it can be seing as spam. Always keep in mind quality is more important than quantity.

Would you mind deleting these duplicate photos and the one with people on you profil?
