Hi Guys, my name is Zsolt and I’m a local guide from Budapest in Hungary.
I love to travel and during these trips the Google Maps helped me a lot, so I also started to share my photos and experiencies, make reviews, answer questions on the Maps to give back something that I have got.
What do I love to share most on Google Maps?
When I get my first smartphone I started to interesting in the photography. So when I decided to buy a new phone it was a really big factor for me the camera to be able to create amazing pictures. (Actually I choosed finally a Nexus 5X and I really like the pictures which are created by it.)
My passion is to share photos about places from a different view to show the other aspects of the places. I always try to upload pictures which are diverse from the already uploaded pictures. Because it doesn’t make sense to see hundred of similar picture from a place. I think the quality is more important than the quantity. I also like to create pictures from places which are not so common and sometimes I had the chance to upload the first picture from a place and it is a really good feeling.
PS: When I’m writing this post I remembered a good example for the different aspect in photography. In Hungary there was a revolution at 23rd October 1956, and I’ve decided to make some then-and-now pictures, so I took some old black and white photos from the internet and try to reproduce them. This is particularly common in a lot of places far away from the city! I like the photos you took that compare the past and the future! Maybe someday you can look for photo meetups or photo walks around your area? That way you can meet other people as well.
