Me and My Journey in GOOGLE MAPS
I accidently got in to Google Map Cab started my journey without marking a destination. It all started end of 2017.
I love Photography and an Amateur Photographer for years. The obsession for Photography increased when I got my Smart Phones.
I use all google Products and Google Photos and Drives were of greater help to save my Smart Phone Photos. ( I take with DSLR Camera too)
MY PHONE LOCATION WAS ALWAYS ON.
Then the message popping up to post photos of the location. I just started posting photos with a different account and found out that it’s got greater value (than just photos) to the Community, when I started getting details of Points and Views and I am doing this as a LOCAL GUIDE. Completely a NEW Experience.
I am on many other SOCIAL MEDIA, but NONE gave me that PUSH to continue, except GOOLE MAP LOCAL GUIDES
I switched to the Present account, jumped in to GOOGLE MAPS LOCAL GUIDE CAB started the Journey, stopped all other Social Media activities (except my FaceBook Page… started in 2012) concentrated only on LOCAL GUIDE almost 24/7, 64 weeks in a stretch
I set the destination…to reach certain number of ‘VIEWS’ which I reached and in the course REACHED this LEVEL in a year.
My journey in Google Maps CAB as Local guide was Fabulous, Extraordinary, Phenomenal, Amazing and Exceptional.

What’s this Journey all ABOUT?

All Photos & Videos were exclusive for Maps only. I went to Events, Programs and shows (and missed few) Historical Sites, People & Places of Interest.

The most pleasurable and happy moment as LOCAL GUIDE was to visit an Elder Care and an Orphanage which I am associated with and recorded their events and Programs for MAPS and now the Community is well informed of the great work they are doing I was first to update their sites.

I love to post Videos of 30 second. which I believe can give a better idea of that location than PHOTOS.
WE LIVE IN THE WORLD OF VIDEOS. -
I love to answer Questions that pops up for a location and tried to answer with proper information for the Person.

In 2019 I will attempt to become
MASTER REVIEWER and MASTER TRAIL BLAZER. -
Adding Places and Roads…
Already I am studying & Planning to add location in my Native town KGF KOLAR GOLD FIELDS with rich history. -
Also in this year planning to update more about the Historical places in my town BENGALURU the IT Capital and START UP destination of India.
Also thinking about bringing greater awareness about LOCAL GUIDES and their exceptional services to the THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY and also to the General Public in my City. This has to be a collective EFFORT. -
Now the CAB brought me to LOCAL GUIDE CONNECT and here I am exploring and finding Interesting stories about other LOCAL GUIDES around the world.
I assure you all LGC memmbers that you will see me active in this forum and interesting & facinating stories from this side of the Globe.
Am I crazy to be a LOCAL GUIDE?
Yes… Because I spent a WHOLE YEAR on this, without knowing anything about LGC and especially CONNECT LIVE Programs. SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO BE CRAZY TO DO SOME GOOD THINGS IN LIFE ALSO.

I AM PROUD TO BE A LOCAL GUIDE.
