It seems that “The Saltire Lounge” has hijacked the McDonald’s venue.
As a result, pictures of the two places are mixed up, as well as the reviews.
For your information, the McDonald’s is located on the pin shown on Google Maps, the pub is located in the building south of the pin.
Currently McDonald’s does not have its own venue on the map, also the restaurant is temporarily closed due to end of holiday season.
I do not know how to handle this correctly, as I am posting on the forum.
As opposed to starting a new thread with the same theme I thought I would add to this one. I realize this merging is what happened to a park entry in Lima, Peru.
There is a park called Park of Love / Parque del Amor. As this is very touristy, there was an entry in English and a separate one in Spanish. These rightly probably should have been merged. What shouldn’t have been merged is the English park with Creperia (beso Frances Creperia), which seemed to have happened.
Having been to this park, I know these rating were not for the Creperia, yet this sneaky individual started treating all the park ratings like they were positive ratings for their venue. Like the original poster, I didn’t know what to do as I sure didn’t want to lose all the nice photos and English comments about this beautiful park.
I was very annoyed with this, as the Creperia apparently claimed ownership and then effectively took advantage of the reviews of the park to make it look like it was for his restaurant.
I will forward the provided information to the responsible team so they can look into it.
