Mayan style chocolate

Mayan style chocolate.
The Mayan culture had a great devotion to cocoa -the cocoa L-to be considered food of the gods, its use and consumption only applied to nobles, warriors and priests.
it was also used as a currency.
The K’aKa´W cacao seed was prepared in an infusion called chocol’ja-Mayan translation of chocolate.
Originally this drink contained cocoa, water, corn and sometimes Chile.
This drink called chocolate has a date of 3,500 years ago.

This preparation contains cocoa ground by friction on a stone called metate or molcajete. It was served in clay pots or jicaras.

There is currently a new commercial brand that replicates the flavors of the traditional Mayan drink. Unlike commercial chocolates, this brand does not contain artificial sugar, artificial colors or flavors, nor are there preservatives.
This brand uses local ingredients, organic free of chemicals, pesticides or fertilizers. Its pure cocoa content is greater than 60%.

The marketing format is 40 grams pills in a 6-piece package.
